Oracle to open PDC at GIFT

Oracle India, Indian subsidiary of US product software giant Oracle Corporation, has started its 10th PDC (Product Development Centre) on 16th July 2015 at Gujarat International Finance Tech City (GIFT). In Bangalore, Oracle Product Development President Thomas Kurian announcedthat the engineers that are being employed in India are company’s second-largest in number outside the US.

“This centre is our one of the main Development centre across the world and the decision to open the 10th PDC proves our allegiance towards India. The performance that has been given by the employees here it is appreciable and it is very much helpful for our customers” he said.

In India Oracle started in 1994 with the help of four engineers in Bangalore and then it spread inHyderabad, Mumbai, Noida, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijaywada. Approximately a total of 3200 employees have been employed in this company all over India.Mr. Kurian said that many other organisations are there to use our products but due to the lack of infrastructure they are unable to use them.
The company has invested more than $34 billion across the world for the continuous improvement of company and this investment works as strength for more perfection.The Company has not yet disclosed on the estimated investment and the hiring plans for developing its PDC at GIFT.
